Is the free plan really free?
Yes. The Free plan is free forever — no credit card required. It's built for getting your first cap table in order.
What's the difference between monthly and annual billing?
Annual billing is paid once per year and works out cheaper — you get two months free compared with paying month to month. You can switch between monthly and annual at any time.
Can I change plans later?
Anytime. Upgrade as you grow or downgrade if your needs change — your data stays exactly where it is.
What happens if I cancel or downgrade?
Your data is never deleted when you downgrade — you simply lose access to the higher-tier features until you upgrade again. If you cancel, you keep read-only access to export your records.
What counts as an entity?
An entity is a single company or holding structure with its own cap table. Multi-entity groups can manage them all from one place on higher tiers.
Do you support offshore structures?
Yes. Capfold is built for BVI, Cayman, US, Australian, Hong Kong and Singapore structures out of the box — not just Delaware C-corps.
How does registered agent support work?
On Scale and Enterprise it's included; on Starter and Growth it's available as an add-on. It keeps your entities in good standing alongside your cap table.
Can you send me an invoice, and can I pay in other currencies?
Paid plans receive an itemised invoice for every charge. Billing is shown in USD; local currency and tax handling depend on your region and are confirmed at checkout.
